Description

A smooth and creamy cottage cheese peanut butter mousse made with simple ingredients. Packed with 20g of protein, naturally sweetened, and ready in just 5 minutes. No protein powder, no baking, and full of rich peanut flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup full-fat cottage cheese

1/4 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened, creamy or crunchy)

2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar-free option like monk fruit or allulose)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

1 to 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream (if needed, to adjust texture)

Toppings (optional):

Chopped peanuts

Dark chocolate chips or shaved chocolate

Extra drizzle of peanut butter

Fresh berries or banana slices

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to blender
Place cottage cheese, peanut butter, sweetener, vanilla, and salt into a high-speed blender or food processor.

  2. Blend until smooth
Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.

  3. Adjust texture (optional)
If the mousse is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk or cream and blend again until you reach your preferred consistency.

  4. Chill to set (optional)
Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes. This helps it firm up and improves the flavor.

  • Serve and top
Spoon into serving bowls or jars. Add your favorite toppings like chopped peanuts, chocolate chips, or fresh fruit.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
